We’ve seen countless number of rumors suggesting that Verizon will launch the Sony Xperia Z2 in the coming months, but it seems Sony has some other plans.
For those of you who are eagerly waiting to get your hands on the Sony Xperia Z2, you be glad to find out Sony has started selling the Sony Xperia Z2 in the US at a retail price of $699.99. The handset is available in all three colors: black, white and purple.
Currently the product listing doesn’t mention an exact shipping date, but it’s likely that it may ship in the coming weeks.
The handset comes with a 5.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and is powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory with a microSD card support of up to 128GB for expansion.
There’s a 20.7MP camera on the back of the device for photos and videos as well as a 2MP front-facing camera, a 3,200 mAh battery, WiFi , Bluetooth 4.0 and runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat as its operating system out of the box.
