Yesterday Sony announced their new phablet, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, and now it would appear that the handset has been spotted at the FCC, although we still do not have any details on exactly when the handset will launch.
The Sony Xperia Z Ultra is one of the first devices to use the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, which is a quad core processor with a clock speed of 2.2GHz.
Other specifications on the Xperia Z Ultra include Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, the device also features an 8 megapixel camera with a Sony Exmor RS sensor and is designed to be both water and dust proof.
As soon as we get some more details on when the Sony Xperia Z Ultra will be available in the US we will let you guys know.
