Sony has officially announced the new PSP2 and also we have seen more details on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, and now it seems that Sony will be bringing a range of PlayStation games to Google’s Android platform with the Sony PlayStation Suite for Android.
The PlayStation Suite will bring a range of PlayStation games to Android devices running Android 2.3 and above, and Sony will kick off the new PlayStation Suite with a range of PSOne classic games.
There will also be a game development environment for developers to create their own games, and the games can be liscensed under the PlayStation certified program, the games will then be distributed through a new PlayStation Store.
Sony has said that the new PlayStation Store will be available directly on Android devices, so it looks like a new app store that will be available as well as the Android Market.
Sony has not given any specific launch date for the PlayStation Store and PlayStation games on Android, all we know is that it will launch some time this year.
