Sony has added another compact camera to its Cybershot range with the launch of the Sony Cybershot DSC-TX55, which according to Sony is the worlds thinnest camera that can capture full HD AVCHD video.
The Sony Cybershot TX55 measures just 12.2mm thick, and it features a 16.2mm Exmor R image sensor, plus some new technology from Sony that they call ‘By Pixel Super Resolution;, which is design to boost zoom range to 10x without any image quality loss.
The Cybershot TX55 can also shot panoramas with a 42.9 megapixel resolution and it can also shot 3D sweep panoramas and 3D images, on the back there is a 3.3 inch OLED touchscreen display.
The Sony Cybershot TX55 will go on sale in September for about $350.
