Back in the day, if you wanted to be organized you used a day planner. Some of you younger guys might not have ever used a day planner; they died off when the smartphone came to popularity. If you still have a day planner lying around, a new product will be unveiled at CES this month called Solar Page. Solar Page is a pair of solar panels designed to be clipped into your day planner.
It’s odd to design a product to clip into a day planner; it has been years since I have seen anyone use a day planner. Still, the Solar Page panels will be just as effective when used without a day planner to hold them. The panels have a pop out microUSB or Lightning connector to directly connect to your iPhone or Android device.
The company behind the product claims that it can completely charge a dead iPhone 6 to 100% in 2.5 hours of sunlight. One key factor that we don’t have at this time is a price on the Solar Page charger. You can be that all of the details will be offered during CES when it kicks off next week.
