To help make story time little more entertaining Yvonne Joh based in Desyrel Dorff, Germany has created a new storybook smartphone projector aptly named DreamMe. The new device is capable of transforming any smartphone into an animated storybook projector. No pairing or extra batteries required just the companion application and the DreamMe accessory. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the DreamMe projector which is launched via Kickstarter this month to raise the required funds it needs to make the jump into production.
It’s creator explains more about the inspiration design and features of the DreamMe smartphone projector. “My name is Yvonne, and I am a passionate godmother. My 6-year-old niece Sophia, my 3-year-old nephew Benjamin and 7-year-old Emma, my friend Anisa’s (team member) daughter, are proven experts in „bedtime stories”, my hardest critics, and the sweetest test laboratory in the world. We have tested and developed many bedtime stories in the last long evenings. I developed the DreamMe Storybook Projector already years ago and finished the new idea now together with my team. “
“With DreamMe, the children’s imagination is stimulated and, depending on the fairy tale, the adventures, new characters, or relaxing good night stories can be experienced in a new way. Animations are projected onto walls or ceilings, with plenty of room to customize the stories with music and sounds. This turns the mobile phone into a visual audiobook. Start the app, choose a story, attach the DreamMe to your mobile phone, read or let read, spend unforgettable moments together.”
DreamMe Is now available to back from just €16 or roughly £14 and worldwide deliveries expected to take place during December 2018. For more information list of all available pledges jump over to the official crowdfunding campaign page by following the link below.
