Skyrim gamers looking forward to the new 1.4 patch being rolled out by Bethesda, will be pleased to learn that its now been released and is available to download through Steam.
Unfortunately console gamers are going to need to wait just a little while longer for the patch, which is hoped will arrive for Xbox 360 and PS3 within the week. The new Skyrim 1.4 patch is hoped to solve a number of issues that PS3 players have been experiencing that causes the game to lag.
Unfortunately there is still no sign of the highly anticipated Creation Kit that Bethesda promised to launch in January. But Bethesda has announced the Creation Kit is nearly ready for release and will be arriving soon. Watch a new trailer rolled out by Bethesda today showing a little more detail on what you can expect once its official launched.
The Creation Kit offers the same suite of tools that Bethesda Game Studios used to create The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and will be a free download via Steam. Skyrim Workshop also being released soon, will enable you to browse and search for the latest or highest rated mods. Once you’ve subscribed to some mods, simply start the Skyrim launcher and your subscribed mods will automatically download and install. The launcher will even check if to see if a mod has been updated and grab the latest version for you automagically. Enjoy!
