Seagate has launched a new range of external hard drives in the form of the new Seagate Wireless Plus line of mobile device storage.
The Seagate Wireless Plus range includes three capacities for users to choose from ranging from 500 GB for $149.99 or 1 TB for $179.99 up to 2 TB for $199.99.
The new Seagate Wireless Plus enables user to access their files at anytime and even synchronise with your Dropbox or Google drive storage automatically. The external storage drives can also share a single Internet connection with up to seven other smartphones, tablets or PCs when setup as a hub.
The Seagate Wireless Plus also supports Smart TV, DNLA and AirPlay and is equipped with a 10 hour battery and fast USB 3.0 connection and supports iOS, Android, Kindle Fire and Windows 8/RT devices.
Seagate has made available the two larger drives from today and the smaller 500 GB drive will be launching later this week on May 9th 2014. Scott Horn, vice president of global marketing for Seagate explains :
“Cloud storage services provide a convenient way for people to migrate files between devices and share with friends and colleagues,”-“With the new Seagate Media app and Wireless Plus mobile storage, people will now be enabled to use these cloud services to access even more media from their Wireless Plus storage device.”
