As the highly anticipated Sea of Thieves launch date edges ever closer, taking place in just four days time on March 20th, 2018, Microsoft and developer Rare have published the final launch trailer for the game, offering a glimpse at the terrifying Kraken underwater monster. To whet your appetite, and shiver-your-timbers before the games release on Xbox and Windows 10 PC systems.
Sea of Thieves offers a multilayer pirate action-adventure game which is played from a first person perspective and features unique cross-platform play between Windows computers and Xbox One game consoles. Within the game players take on quests to collect loot and engage in combat with other players. Groups of players can travel together and explore the open world on pirate ships assuming different roles such as skipper, crew, navigator, weapons and more. Sea of Thieves is a shared game world, which means groups of players will encounter each other regularly throughout their adventures, battling it out for the games lost treasures. As you can see from the trailers the game has a cartoon style to its graphics and includes an exaggerated physics engine that allows players to perform unusual in world stunts such as being fired from a cannon and more.
