Earlier today we heard that Apple has filed a new complaint with the ITC in an attempt to get Samsung’s new flagship Android smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S III banned in the US.
Now Samsung has responded to Apple’s request and have said that they will “demonstrate to the court that the Galaxy S III is innovative and distinctive.”.
The new Samsung Galaxy S III went on sale in Europe at the end of May, and the handset is scheduled to go on sale in the US later this month, but it looks like Apple is attempting to stop the new Galaxy S III going on sale in the US.
The Samsung Galaxy S III is due to go on sale with a number of US carriers on the 21st of June, whether or not Apple will be able to get the court to come to a decision before the handset actually launches remains to be seen.
