Samsung released the Android Oreo update for their Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge earlier this month. The update was then paused for both handsets after there were some issues with update.
The update was originally rolled out in the UK before it was paused, if it had not been paused, Samsung would have released it in more countries.
Good news if you have been waiting for the Android Oreo update on your S7 or S7 Edge as Samsung has now resumed the update.
Some people had reported a problem where their handset would reboot after installing the update, Samsung has not fixed this issue and started to release the update again. The Android Oreo update has been released as an over the air update for both devices.
The update brings the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to Android 8.0, you can check if it is available for your handset from the settings menu on your device..
