The Samsung Galaxy View 2 will go on sale on AT&T from tomorrow the 26th of April, the device will retail for $740, the previous model cost $600.
The updated Galaxy View will be available on AT&T’s monthly installment plan and it will set you back $37 a month over 20 months.
Specifications and Features
As a reminder, the tablet comes with a 17.3 inch display with a Full HD resolution, making it ideal for media consumption, whether you’re streaming movies, playing games, or browsing the web. The large screen size is one of the standout features of the Galaxy View 2, providing a more immersive viewing experience compared to standard tablets.
Under the hood, the Galaxy View 2 is powered by a Samsung Exynos 7885 processor and 3GB of RAM. This combination should provide adequate performance for most tasks, although it may not be as powerful as some of the high-end tablets on the market. The Exynos 7885 is a mid-range processor that balances performance and efficiency, making it suitable for a device of this nature.
The tablet has 64GB of included storage, which should be sufficient for most users. However, if you need more space, the Galaxy View 2 also features a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 400GB. This means you can easily expand your storage to accommodate more apps, games, videos, and other media.
Battery Life and Connectivity
One of the key features of the Galaxy View 2 is its 12,000 mAh battery. This large battery capacity should provide plenty of power to keep the tablet running throughout the day, even with heavy use. Whether you’re watching videos, playing games, or working on the go, the Galaxy View 2’s battery life should be more than sufficient.
In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy View 2 supports both Wi-Fi and LTE, allowing you to stay connected wherever you are. This makes it a versatile device that can be used at home, in the office, or on the move. The tablet also includes a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio.
The Galaxy View 2 also comes with a built-in kickstand, which makes it easy to prop up the tablet on a flat surface. This is particularly useful for watching videos or making video calls, as it allows you to use the tablet hands-free. The kickstand is adjustable, so you can find the perfect angle for your needs.
Software and Additional Features
The Galaxy View 2 runs on Android, providing access to a wide range of apps and services through the Google Play Store. This includes popular streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube, as well as productivity apps like Microsoft Office and Google Drive. The tablet also supports Samsung’s own suite of apps and services, including Samsung Health and Samsung Notes.
In addition to its hardware and software features, the Galaxy View 2 also includes a number of additional features designed to enhance the user experience. For example, the tablet includes a front-facing camera for video calls and selfies, as well as stereo speakers for improved audio quality. The tablet also supports Bluetooth, allowing you to connect wireless headphones or other accessories.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy View 2 is a versatile and feature-rich tablet that should appeal to a wide range of users. Whether you’re looking for a device for media consumption, productivity, or staying connected on the go, the Galaxy View 2 has a lot to offer.
