Earlier this year, Samsung introduced the mid-range Samsung Galaxy Tab A, which is already available in some markets across the globe.
If you’re tied to T-Mobile, the carrier has announced the Galaxy Tab A will hit the Magenta carrier on August 19th for $0 down and $13.34 for 23 months.
The tablet comes in two variants: an 8-inch variant and 9.7-inch version. The carrier didn’t specify which version will go on sale on August 19th, but it’s likely to be the 9.7-inch version of the Galaxy Tab A.
As far as the specifications are concerned, there’s a 9.7-inch display sporting a resolution 1024 by 768 pixels, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage, a microSD card slot with support of up to 128GB memory and ships with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop as its operating system. Other features includes 5MP camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera and a 6,000 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for the tablet.
