Yesterday Samsung unveiled two new tablets in their Galaxy Tab range, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and the Galaxy Tab 10.1, and we have seen the Galaxy Tab 10.1 before, but now we have some more photos and specifications on this new Android tablet.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is ultra thin measuring in at just 8.6mm thick and it is also pretty light, weighing in at just 595g, it comes with the tablet version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a 10.1 inch display, with a WXGA resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, and processing is provided by a dual core 1GHz processor.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 can playback Full HD video in 1080p and it features a three megapixel camera on the back and a two megapixel camera on the front.
There will be two version available, a WiFi only model and a WiFi and HSPA+ model, and the 10.1 is slightly more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, with the 16GB model retailing for $499 and the 32GB model retailing for $599.
