The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus are expected to be made official at Mobile World Congress next month. We previously heard that the new handsets would come with at least 6GB of RAM. Anew rumor is suggesting that the Galaxy S9 may actually come with 4GB of RAM.
According to a recent report the memory options for the Samsung Galaxy S9 will include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The Galaxy S9 Plus is rumored to come with 6GB of RAM and a choice of storage options which include 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. There may also be a 512GB model of the S9 Plus in some countries.
We previously heard that the Samsung Galaxy S9 would come with a single camera with a 12 megapixel sensor and that the Galaxy S9 Plus would come with dual cameras with two 12 megapixel sensors. the handsets are also said to come with updated facial recognition and an updated Iris sensor.
With regards to processors there will be two different versions, one with Samsung’s own Exynos 9810 processor and another with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The different processors will be released in different countries.
The design of the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus is said to be similar to that of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. We will have more details about these new handsets at MWC 2018 next month.
