We recently heard a rumor that the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active was coming to T-Mobile and Sprint, the handset was previously an exclusive with AT&T. T-Mobile has now confirmed the launch date for the S8 Active of the 17th of November online and in their retail stores from the 22nd of November.
The carrier has revealed the pricing for the Galaxy S8 Active on their networks. It will be available with $100 down and $30 a month on their 24 month installment plan. It will also be available on their JUMP plan for $100 down and $29 a month.
“The incredible thing about the Galaxy S8 Active coming to T-Mobile is that this device really lights up every benefit of the Un-carrier network,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. “The top speed and strength of our network paired with this rugged and nimble device – it’s a thing of beauty!”
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is equipped with a 5.8 inch display that has a Quad HD+ resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels. The handset comes with a Snapdragon 835 and has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It also comes with a microSD card slot and front and rear cameras. On the front there is an 8 megapixel camera for Selfies and on the back there is a 12 megapixel camera for photos and videos.
