When the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active launched in the US it was exclusive to AT&T. It looks like that will change shortly. According to Evan Blass, the handset is coming to two more US mobile carriers soon, Sprint and T-Mobile.
The Galaxy S8 Active is a rugged version of the S8, the handset is designed to take knocks and bumps and more. The device comes with a 5.8 inch display with a QHD+ resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of include storage.
If you need some extra storage, the S8 Active comes with a microSD card slot which can take up to a 256GB card. The device also comes with high end cameras. On the front of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active there is an 8 megapixel camera for Selfies and on the back of the device there is a a 12 megapixel camera for videos and photos.
As yet there are no details on when both Sprint and T-Mobile will start offering the handset. As soon as we get a launch date for the device with both carrier and also some pricing we will let you guys know. We suspect the device may be available with one or maybe both Sprint and T-Mobile some time within the next few weeks. The Sprint photo is showing a date of the 17th of November, have a look at the tweet below.
