We have heard a number of rumors about the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones, the handsets are rumored to be made official some time in January 2016.
Now according to a recent report, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will come with a 3D Touch like feature that Apple introduced with their new iPhone 6S handsets.
As well as the new pressure sensitive display the new Galaxy S7 is also rumored to come with an iris scanner, this is something we have heard rumors about on the past.
The Galaxy S7 is rumored to feature a 5.2 inch display and the S7 Edge a 5.7 inch display, both handsets are also rumored to have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. There is also the possibility of another version of the handset that will come with a 4K Ultra HD display.
Samsung will apparently use different processors for different countries, one processor will be Samsung’s new Exynos 8990 the other will be the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The handset will also come with 4GB of RAM and fixed storage options of 32GB and 64GB, it is not clear as yet on whether they will also offer a 128GB model.
The cameras on Samsung’s new S7 smartphones will also get an upgrade, the rear camera will use Samsung’s new BRITECELL sensor, as yet there are no details on how many megapixels the camera will have. The front camera is also expected to get upgraded and there are rumors that it will come with 8 megapixels.
Samsung are expected to launch their new Samsung Galaxy S7 handsets earlier than normal next year, with a possible announcement in January and then a launch to retail stores in February, as soon as we get some more details about both of these new handsets, we will let you guys know.
