The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are now official and we have all the details on Samsung’s latest flagship smartphones.
The Galaxy S7 comes with a 5.1 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and the S7 Edge has a 5.5 inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Both handsets come with Android Marshmallow and are IP68 certified for dust and water protection, each device will come with a choice of processors depending on the market.
One processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and the other processors is the Samsung Exynos 8990, both devices will come with 4GB of RAM and a choice of either 32GB or 64GB of storage. The good news is that the handsets come with a microSD card slot which supports up to 200GB cards.
Other specifications in the handsets include a 3000 mAh battery on the Galaxy S7 and a 3600 mAh battery on the S7 Edge.
The S7 and S7 Edge come with new cameras, on the front of the handsets there is a 5 megapixel camera and on the back there is a Dual Pixel 12 megapixel camera with Smart OIS.
