The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge came with significant improvements, including IP68 certification which makes the handset dust and water resistant. Samsung issued a warning not to charge the smartphone when the multipurpose jack is wet as it may damage the device.
According to a new report, Samsung has added a moisture sensor in the USB charging port which prevents the device from charging when the port is wet.
If the charging port is wet and you try to charge it, the smartphone will apparently show you a message about the moisture in the port, and prevent charging.
This is definitely a good addition to the smartphone as there are times when the users didn’t notice moisture in the charging port and prevent the device from getting damaged.
