xLean has returned to Berlin for IFA 2026 with a major software evolution for its TR1 floor-washing robot. Following an exclusive preview at ShowStoppers on September 3, xLean is now hosting live, interactive demonstrations at Booth 11.1-129 from September 4–8.
This showcase follows a landmark year for the TR1, marked by over $2 million pledged by more than 2,000 Kickstarter backers and four prestigious design honors, including recognition from IFA 2025, the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026, and the International Design Excellence Awards.
EvoMate OS Adds Agent Capabilities
The centerpiece of the IFA demonstrations is EvoMate OS, xLean’s new AI Agent experience. Users can give the TR1 a natural-language request in one sentence. The system is designed to interpret the request, identify the area that needs attention, choose a cleaning strategy, complete the task, and report back when it is finished. xLean will also demonstrate visual assistance functions such as locating everyday items and checking whether pet essentials need attention. The platform is powered by the D-Robotics Sunrise X5 AI chip with 10 TOPS of computing power.
One-Second Dual-Form Cleaning
The TR1’s defining hardware feature remains its one-second transformation between autonomous Robot Form and Handheld Form. Robot Form handles scheduled whole-home hard-floor cleaning. Handheld Form gives users immediate control over spills, sticky stains, pet messes, and other localized cleanup jobs. The same machine then returns to autonomous operation when the targeted job is complete.
17,000 Pa Suction and Dirt Hunting Mode
For wet and dry messes, the TR1 uses Dual-Motor DirectSuction technology with up to 17,000 Pa of suction. Dual 400 RPM self-cleaning rollers provide up to 800 cleaning actions per minute. Green-laser dirt detection helps the system measure mess levels in real time, while Dirt Hunting Mode actively searches the floor for areas that need attention. Navigation hardware includes a 360-degree LiDAR system, an RGB-D camera, infrared sensing, and 44,640 3D sensing points.
A More Automated Base Station
The OMNI Station handles water refilling, wastewater extraction, solid-liquid separation, hot-water self-cleaning, and hot-air drying. A physical camera shutter and encrypted data transmission address privacy controls, and Agent Mode can be disabled while other core functions remain available. xLean will also show a newly unlocked Space Silver finish and personalized top-cover laser engraving created in response to supporter feedback.
First customer shipments for the xLean TR1 are scheduled to begin in Q4 2026, and all IFA 2026 attendees, media representatives, and industry partners are invited to experience live TR1 demonstrations and interact with the xLean team at Messe Berlin, Booth 11.1-129 from September 4 through September 8.
