Everthine is showing its A1 desktop AI companion at IFA 2026 in Berlin, giving European visitors their first chance to see the dedicated device in action. The showcase runs September 4-8 at Messe Berlin and comes ahead of the product’s planned release later this year.
A1 places a real-time 3D character on an 8.01-inch curved OLED display. The screen is designed to create a sense of depth as the character moves, gestures, and reacts. Users can rotate the character to view it from different angles, while touch input can trigger expressions, movement, and voice responses.
A character with continuity
The central feature is long-term memory. Everthine says A1 can retain details from earlier conversations and build a continuous picture of the person using it. The companion can recognize familiar faces and pets it has encountered before, connect new conversations with older memories, and develop its personality gradually over time.
That continuity also extends to Everthine’s software. The company is developing a companion app with text, voice and video interaction. When an account is linked, the same character can continue across compatible devices. Everthine says the software and hardware are following separate 2026 release schedules, with software expected first.
Hardware made for a desk
A1 uses a six-microphone array with source localization, front and rear cameras, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a 10W speaker. These components provide audio direction, visual context, and room awareness for the character’s responses. A physical camera shutter and hardware microphone switch give users visible control over the sensors.
Everthine is positioning A1 as an adult companion for warm, everyday conversation. The initial proactive behavior will be modest: the character may greet the user first when an interaction begins. Context-aware check-ins, deeper character creation, added scenes and outfits, new scenario modes and mini-games are planned for later software updates.
Everthine also says conversations are protected with end-to-end encryption, conversation data will never train AI models, and users can permanently delete stored data or close their accounts.

IFA attendees can find Everthine at Reseller Park, H27o_20, from September 4-8. Pricing and final availability details are due closer to launch.
The hands-on showing will let visitors judge response speed, viewing depth, microphone pickup, and the way stored context affects a live exchange.
