Samsung has announced that their latest Android smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has sold 4 million units in under a month, making this their most popular Galaxy smartphone to date.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 was launched on the 27th of April, and Samsung managed to sell 10 million handsets in less than a month, the device has been so popular that 4 Galaxy S4 devices are sold every second.
It took the Samsung Galaxy S3 50 days to reach 10 million units sold, the S2 five months, and the original Galaxy S took seven months to sell 10 million handsets, selling 10 million Galaxy S4 devices in under a month is certainly impressive.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with a number of interesting features, including eye pause and eye scroll, which are used for pausing videos and scrolling on the handsets display based on your eye movements.
Specifications on the Galaxy S4 include a 5 inch full high definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the handset is powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with a clock speed of 1.9GHz and it also comes with 2GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and the device features dual cameras with a 2 megapixel front facing camera and a rear facing 13 megapixel camera, it also has a 2,600 mAh battery and comes with a microSD card slot, plus a choice of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of built in storage.
