We have heard lots of different rumors about the new Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus smartphones. According to a recent report the handsets will not come with an iris scanner, instead the device will use an in display fingerprint scanner.
There have been lots of rumors about the in display fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy S10, previous rumors had suggested the Note 9 may get the technology, it would now appear that the Galaxy S10 will be the first of Samsung”s handsets to get the technology.
The Galaxy S10 is rumored to come with a a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor or a Samsung Exynos 9820 processor. As with the previous devices Samsung will be using different processors in different countries.
The device will come with a 5.8 inch display with a QJD+ resolution, the S10 Plus is said to come with a 6.3 inch display, also with a QHD+ resolution. The handset is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The cameras on the new S10 handsets are expected to get a large upgrade and there are rumors that there could be a triple rear cameras on the S10 Plus. Samsung are expected to launch their new S10 handsets in January of 2019.
The reason for the earlier then normal launch next year is that Samsung is planning to launch their new foldable smartphone at MWC 2019 next February.
