Previous rumors have suggested that next years Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus handsets will come with a fingerprint sensor under the display. We had also heard rumors that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will use the same under display sensor.
According to a recent report, Samsung has now told its suppliers that the Galaxy Note 9 will not have an under display fingerprint sensor. So it looks like the new Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus will be the first of Samsung’s handsets to use the technology.
The last thing we heard about the device was that Samsung may actually launch the handset in January 2019 instead of at Mobile World Congress in February. The reason for the apparent early launch is that Samsung are rumored to be launching their foldable smartphone at mobile world congress.
The new Samsung Galaxy S10 handsets are expected to get a number of upgrades over the current S9 devices. This will include either a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Samsung Exynos 9820 processor. We are also expecting the devices to come with more RAM and some new cameras.
The design of the Galaxy S9 is very similar to the Galaxy S8, so Samsung could decide to go for a new new design for next years handsets. As soon as we get some more details about the Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus, we will let you guys know.
