The Samsung Galaxy S II has been on sale in Europe for a while now, and it is due to go on sale in the US at the end of the month, and was expected to be available on all the major carriers in the US.
Not it would appear, according to a recent report by the WSJ, that Verizon Wireless will not be carrying the new Samsung Galaxy S II in the US, which is expected to be officially announced in the US next Monday, the 29th of August.
According to the WSJ the Samsung Galaxy S II will be available with AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile USA, but not Verizon, and we suspect this news will be a disappointment to many who were intending to get the Galaxy S II on Verizon.
There are no details as yet on why Verizon will not be carrying the Samsung Galaxy S II, the device has been extremely popular outside the US, and Samsung have sold over 5 million Galaxy S II devices.
