Samsung is expected to release the Android Lollipop update for a range of its Galaxy devices, and now the company has teased the update for their new Galaxy Note 4 smartphone.
The photo above was posted on Twitter by Samsung, and as we can see the company will be bringing the Android Lollipop update to the Galaxy Note 4.
Expected Devices to Receive the Update
Samsung has yet to reveal a comprehensive list of devices that will be getting the Android Lollipop update, although we can also expect it to land on the Samsung Galaxy S5 as well as the Note 4. Historically, Samsung has rolled out major updates to its flagship devices first, followed by mid-range and budget models. Therefore, it is highly likely that other high-end devices like the Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3, and Galaxy Alpha will also receive the update.
In addition to these, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab series, particularly the Galaxy Tab S and Galaxy Tab Pro, are strong candidates for the Lollipop update. These tablets are popular among users for their high-resolution displays and powerful performance, making them ideal for the new features and improvements that Android Lollipop brings.
