A couple of weeks ago we heard that a US court had lifted the ban on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone ahead of an official appeal against the lawsuit brought by Apple against Samsung.
Now according to a recent report the stay on the US ban of the Galaxy Nexus has been extended for a few more weeks, which means the devices will continue to be on sale till at least the 20th of August.
The case between Apple and Samsung on the fate of the Galaxy nexus will now take place on the 20th of August, and Samsung may be granted a further stay for the whole duration of the court case between the two companies.
Google recently removed the Galaxy Nexus from sale in the US, and then started selling the device again with modified software, which is reported to get around the alleged patent infringement from Apple.
