Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus smartphone was banned from sale in the US last week, and now the court has lifted the ban of the handset on a temporary basis, the ban was lifted after an appeal by Samsung.
Google and Samsung are working on releasing the Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and modifications to the devices software which are expected to bypass the alleged Apple patent infringements.
Apple now has until the 12th of July to respond to the ban being lifted, which could seen the device banned again until Google and Samsung manage to release the modified device.
The trial between Apple and Samsung starts on the 30th of July, and as well as the Galaxy Nexus, the fate of Galaxy Tab 10.1, which is currently banned for sale in the US will be decided at the same time.
