There are rumors circulating all over the internet that Samsung is working on Lite versions of several handsets, including the Galaxy Note 3 and the recently announced Galaxy Grand Lite. The alleged handset was also spotted at the FCC few days back with a model number GT-I9060.
It turns out, if the new rumor is correct, the affordable Galaxy Grand Lite will be dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo which is expected to see the daylight at the Mobile World Congress 2014 taking place in February in Barcelona, Spain.
The same rumor also pointed out some of the specifications the purported Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo is expected to bring at the table. According to this rumor, Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo will pack a 5-inch WVGA display with a quad-core A7 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, similar to what can be found inside the recent Samsung Galaxy Grand 2.
On top of it, the handset is rumored to run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz UI pre-installed out of the box. There are no more details available at the moment about the storage or the RAM it will come with, but we don’t expect those to be very high considering that it’s targetting the mid-range market.
Stay tuned, we’ll inform you as soon as something pops up.
