We recently heard that about the new Samsung Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A 8 Plus smartphones, these handsets are the new versions of the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7. Samsung is expected to launch these two new handsets early next year.
The handsets recently appeared in a Samsung User Manual which was spotted by WinFuture and the manual revealed some more information about the two handsets. We recently saw a leaked photo of the new Galaxy A8 Plus.
We have some information on the specifications of the two devices, the handsets will come with 4GB of RAM as standard, there will apparently be another version of the handset with 6GB of RAM. The devices will also come with dual SIM card slots and will apparently be powered by a Samsung Exynos 7885 processor.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8 Plus will include a 16 megapixel front facing camera for Selfies and video calls and a 16 megapixel rear camera. Both devices are said to come with android 7.1 Nougat.
There are a couple of possibilities on when Samsung will announce their new Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus smartphones. We could see them at CES 2018 in January along with the Samsung Galaxy X. Or they may turn up at Mobile World Congress in February along with the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.
