Samsung has revealed that it will be bringing some new features to its AR Emoji with the new Samsung AR Emoji update.
These new features are headed to the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, and we presume the new Galaxy Note 9 when it launches. Have a look at the video below.
Enhanced Customization Options
With the update, after users snap a selfie to generate their AR Emoji, they’ll be able to easily make detailed adjustments to their AR Emoji’s hair, ears, and facial features. This means that, for instance, when a child creates an AR Emoji, they’ll be able to adjust the shape of their face so that it more closely mirrors their own. And if you feel like your AR Emoji’s eyes, nose, lips, cheeks, or other facial features are in need of a touch-up, the new My Emoji Editor function offers simple tools to fine-tune these distinguishing characteristics.
The My Emoji Editor function is particularly noteworthy because it allows for a higher degree of personalization. Users can now tweak their AR Emoji to better reflect their unique appearance, making the digital avatars more lifelike and relatable. This feature is especially useful for those who want their AR Emoji to represent them as accurately as possible, whether for fun or for professional use in virtual meetings and social media.
New Animation Features
In addition to enhanced customization options, the update also introduces new animation features. These animations make the AR Emojis more expressive and dynamic. Users can now choose from a wider range of pre-set animations or create their own custom animations. This allows for more engaging and interactive communication, whether you’re sending a message to a friend or sharing a story on social media.
For example, imagine sending a birthday greeting with your AR Emoji performing a dance or expressing excitement. These new animation features add a layer of fun and creativity to digital communication, making interactions more memorable and enjoyable.
Improved User Interface
The update also brings an improved user interface, making it easier for users to navigate through the various customization and animation options. The new interface is more intuitive and user-friendly, ensuring that even those who are not tech-savvy can easily create and customize their AR Emojis. This improvement is part of Samsung’s ongoing effort to enhance user experience and make their technology accessible to everyone.
Compatibility and Future Updates
While the update is currently available for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, it is expected to be compatible with the upcoming Galaxy Note 9. Samsung has a history of rolling out updates to its latest devices, ensuring that users always have access to the newest features and improvements. This commitment to continuous improvement is one of the reasons why Samsung remains a leader in the smartphone industry.
