A second trailer has been released by Warner Brothers Pictures this week for the Rampage, which stars Dwayne Johnson and has been directed by Brad Peyton. The new action adventure based on the video game by the same name has been written by Ryan Engle and Carlton Cuse, Ryan J. Condal and Adam Sztykiel from a story by Ryan Engle. Check out the new teaser trailer below to learn more about the storyline you can expect from the movie which premiers worldwide on April 20th, 2018.
The Rampage 2018 movie also stars Naomie Harris, Malin Åkerman, Joe Manganiello, Jake Lacy, Marley Shelton, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan and will be available to watch in regular, Real D 3D, and IMAX 3D formats. The storyline for the movie revolves around Primatologist Davis Okoye played by Johnson, who shares an unshakeable bond with George and intelligent silverback gorilla who has been in the care of Davis since birth.
“But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.”
