QUO Computer has launched a new high end PC designed for performance users, the maxQ2 (squared) PC. The maxQ2 features an Asetek liquid cooling system, and comes with an Intel Core i7 6 Core 3.6GHz processor.
There is also 12GB of RAM, a 240GB SSD (Solid State Drive), and a 1TB hard drive, plus an NVIDIA 285 GTX configured to take advantage of the Adobe Mercury Playback Engine.
Inside there is an integrated pump and copper plate connected to a 120mm heat exchange, and according to the manufacturer the maxQ2 ‘enables Mac OS X enthusiasts to get the benefits of liquid cooling in an extremely powerful computer, without the effort of retrofitting liquid cooling into an existing Mac Pro.‘
Users can also choose to install Linux and Windows 7, prices start at $3,765 and it will go on sale on September the 15th.
