Polar has rolled out a new fitness wearable at CES 2015 that promises to help experienced and new athletes alike get fit and track their activities. The watch is called the Polar A300 activity tracker and it will track what you do 24/7. The watch has accurate heart rate tracking when paired with a heart rate monitoring strap.
The A300 is designed for workouts and every day use and can be purchased in black, white, pink, blue, grey, or yellow colors. The hardware portion of the A300 can be removed from the band and swapped to a different color band easily to match your color mood for the day. The watch features Polar Smart Coaching and tracks your heart rate, steps, calories burned, daily activity, and sleep.
The watch can track restful and restless sleep patterns and has vibration feedback for inactivity reminders. The Polar A300 connects to heart rate monitors via Bluetooth Smart technology and can sync with smartphone apps. Polar will offer the A300 starting in February for $139.95 alone or for $179.95 with the H7 heart rate sensor. Each additional band colors will sell for $24.95.
