Earlier this month we heard that Apple has ordered 90 million iPhone 6 handsets from Foxconn, we also heard that TSMC had started production of the new Apple A8 processor for the iPhone 6.
Now according to a recent report, another of Apple’s manufacturing partners, Pegatron, will start production of the new iPhone 6 in quarter 2.
Pegatron is in the processor of recruiting workers and opening a new production plant in China where the iPhone 6 will be produced.
So it looks like Apple will use both Pegatron and Foxconn for the production of the new iPhone 6, the device is rumored to launch some time in September.
Along with the iPhone 6 we are also expecting Apple to launch their new Apple iWatch and the next major version of their mobile OS, Apple iOS 8.
The iPhone 6 is expected to come with the new Apple A8 processor, we have also heard that the device will come with a larger 4.7 inch display as opposed to the 4 inch display in the iPhone 5S.
