Pebble smartwatch gained its fair share of popularity among smartphone owners as it’s compatible with iPhone and Android devices, unlike Samsung Galaxy Gear which works with a limited number of Galaxy handsets. If you’re thinking about getting Pebble smartwatch, Amazon and Best Buy are offering the gadget for just $120, a saving of 20 percent from its official price.
Even if you’re a Windows Phone 8 user, you can make use of Pebble through an unofficial application known as Pebble Watch Pro, which gives users the ability to receive Calendar, Twitter, Battery and Network alerts on your pebble, along with a few more features.
In case you don’t know, the smartwatch comes with a 1.26-inch e-paper display with a resolution of 144 x 168 pixels and weighs only 38g. The watch is powered by a ARM Cortex-M3 processor with a Lithium-ion Polymer battery that can give up to five to seven days battery time with charges. The watch also supports a bunch of applications such as RunKeeper, Foursquare and many more.
Recently, the developers behind Pebble also updated the software adding several new features including a Do Not Disturb mode and Snooze option.
