Currently, Pebble Smartwatch only works with iPhone and Android, and not any other platform. If you’re a Windows Phone 8 user thinking about getting Pebble smartwatch this holiday season, you’d be glad to know that unofficial support for the watch has arrived on Windows Phone through an application known as Pebble Watch Pro. The application is not free and comes with a $1.99 price tag.
The application gives users the ability to receive Calendar, Twitter, Battery and Network alerts right on your Pebble. Using the application, you can get tweets from your home timeline along with the direct messages. The application alerts users when the battery drops below 50, 40, 30, 20 and 10 percent. You can also set up reminders a few minutes before any appointments or meetings using your watch. Additionally, it will also notify you when you lose or gain WiFI, 3G or 4G connectivity on you smartphone.
Pebble Watch Pro costs $1.99 and can be downloaded from the Windows Phone Store. The developer also released a free version of he application known as Pebble Watch Lite, but it doesn’t come with all the above-mentioned features. It only allows users to test the notifications system and control music on you Windows Phone handset using Pebble.
