This week Pandora the online radio service has finally released the tablet version of its Pandora Android tablet application with the launch of its newly updated at which is now at version 5.
The launch of a dedicated Pandora Android tablet app has been anticipated for some time and also been one of the most requested features by users of the service.
Within the latest Pandora Android tablet app the Pandora “Play” user interface is positioned in the centre of the screen with track information and your play history positioned underneath. Settings are now positioned on the left-hand side and are accessible from the action bar or via its own icon if you have your Android tablet positioned in landscape. Access to a users personalised profile and music feed is also available within the Pandora Android tablet app where bookmarks and custom radio stations can be kept.
Other new features of the new Pandora Android tablet app, which has been designed from scratch also provide access to purchase the current song being played with links directly to Amazon. As well as links to an artists profile page that lists their biography, discography and lyrics.
The new Pandora Android tablet app is now available to download from the Google Play Store for free and offers a wealth of new features together with the obligatory performance enhancements and bug fixes : Android | iOS
