Panasonic has announced a new HDTV in Japan, the Panasonic Viera TH-L42G3, which comes with a 42 inch Full HD LCD display, and also feature a built in SD card reader that supports SD, SDHC and SDXC cards.
The SD card Reader can be used to record HD content from for the TV, and according to Panasonic a 64GB SDXC card can record about 5 hours of Full HD video.
As well as being able to record TV direct to an SD card you can also hook up an external hard drive to the TV and record HD content directly onto it.
It will be available in japan in February for about $1,800, there are no details on when we are likely to see it in the US and Europe.
