At MWC 2015 this week Panasonic has taken the wraps off its latest creation in the form of the Panasonic Nubo 4G monitoring camera, which has been designed to compete with the likes of the monoitoring cameras created by Dropcam and the like.
The Panasonic Nubo 4G monitoring camera is equipped with motion sensors that are capable of detecting movement, that then triggers the camera into life recording clips of either 5, 10, 30 or 60 second lengths.
Pansonic explains : “Nubo is world’s first 4G enabled camera. From now on, the only thing you need to monitor your valuables is a mobile connection.
Our advanced video analytics trigger alerts to your mobile device when something is up in your protected area. Using Nubo is easy as 1,2,3. Simply take it out of the box, power it up and you are ready to monitor what you value most. “
Pre-ordering of the Panasonic Nubo 4G monitoring cameras will start next month with units being priced at $249. Panasonic is expected to start shipping their new camera in the fourth quarter of 2015 throughout the UK and Netherlands with the US receiving the new monitoring camera early in 2016.
