There are a huge amount of Symbian S60 devices on the market globally today. The smartphone OS has been pushed by Nokia for a long time and is still one of the top smartphone platforms even though we hear more about Android and iOS4 today.
Opera announced today that a new beta version of the Opera Mobile browser, version 10.1 is available for download. The new browser supports Symbian S60 smartphones. The beta adds some nice new features to the browser. It uses the Presto rendering engine, Vega graphics library, and Carakan JavaScript engine.
Other new features of the beta browser include Speed Dial, Opera Link, a password manager, and virtual keyboard. The browser is also able to use geolocation to show the location of the device on maps and other applications. The beta browser can be downloaded form m.opera.com/next.
