The new OnePlus 6 smartphone is launching this week, OnePlus are holding a press conference for their new flagship Android devices. The event takes place on Wednesday the 16th of May at 5PM British Summer Time.

Yesterday we saw some leaked press renders of the new OnePlus 6 smartphone, the handset will come with a glass back and a range of high end specifications. At the heart of the new device will be Qualcomm’s flagship mobile processor, the Snapdragon 845.
There will be two different versions of the device, the first one will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, the second one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device comes with a notch at the top of the display and it is expected to come with facial recognition and Face Unlock.
The handset will come with a 6.28 inch display with a FHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and the display with have a 19:9 aspect ratio. The device will have high end cameras with a dual camera setup on the back.
One the rear there will be one 16 megapixel camera and one 20 megapixel camera, on the front there will be a 16 megapixel camera for Selfies. The handset will come with Android 8.1 Oreo. We will have full details on the new OnePlus flagship when it is made official on Wednesday.
