
Olympus has today unveiled their new Olympus Pen E-PL9 4K camera which comes equipped with 4K image stabilisation and will be available in three different finishes either black, brown or white. The Pen E-PL9 is capable of capturing 4K Ultra HD video at 30 frames per second and includes Bluetooth connectivity, allowing owners to quickly share captured photos or videos via social networks, using a smartphone or tablet and the Olympus companion application.

Specifications of the Olympus Pen E-PL9 4K camera include a 16-megapixel sensor combined with a TruePic VIII processor and 121-point autofocus technology with contrast-detect. The technology is similar features to that include in the larger Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III although the new Pen E-PL9 is limited to just three axis rather than five axis of stabilisation in the larger Mark III.

The body of the Olympus Pen E-PL9 will be available to purchase during mid-March 2018 and will be priced at €549, a bundle will also be available offering the Olympus PEN E-PL9 with M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 EZ Pancake lens priced at €699 and will also be available during mid-March 2018.
