
We’ve heard a little about the upcoming gaming tablet from NVIDIA dubbed as the Shield tablet in the past. The tablet is expected to target gamers, and will harness the power of the Tegra K1 processor.
Recently, @evleaks posted a press render of the purported NVIDIA Shield Tablet. The alleged tablet was first leaked with the codename Mocha, and was even spotted on GFXBench as well as GCF results.
The notorious leaker didn’t share any details about the internals or the time when NVIDIA will announce the tablet, but it’s expected to come with the Tegra K1 processor. The image above shows a front-facing camera as well as speakers, and doesn’t look too big.
Based on previous rumors, the alleged NVIDIA Shield Tablet could feature a 7.9-inch display sporting a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, with 2GB of RAM on board.
Other rumored features include 16GB of storage, a 7MP camera on the back for photos and videos, 4.8MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi connectivity and should come with Android 4.4.2 KitKat as its operating system.
