Nuvelon has created a new wireless speaker lantern in the form of the Nuvelon Flare, which can be wirelessly synchronised with up to eight other lanterns to create a network of sound and light. Once connected the Flare lantern speakers can play music along the length of a football field and require no applications, external batteries, chords or wireless connection. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the Nuvelon Flare Bluetooth speaker which is taken to Kickstarter this week to raise the required funds it needs to go into production.
With pledges available from $129 for early bird backers, a saving of $70 of the recommended retail price is available to the first 50 backers. With shipping expected to take place during August 2018 if the campaign is successful and it raises the required $50,000 pledge goal needed to take the Bluetooth speaker lantern into production.
When connected to another speaker they can be positioned up to 50ft apart and the synchronisation is capable through walls and around corners. The speakers need only be synchronised once and the connection will be automatically made next time the speakers come into range of each other. Equipped with twin 3 inch front facing full range dynamic drivers, the lantern Bluetooth speakers are capable of producing 15W of power and are capable of providing up to 8 hours of playback from a single charge if required.
