Smart Light

Anyone in the market for a smart light might be interested in the Notti, a light with a difference. The Notti connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth, and notifies you with a different colour of light when you receive an incoming call, SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook update, IFTTT notifications or similar.

The Notti smart light is totally customisable so you can select the colour you would prefer for each type of notification. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the Notti smart light project and see it in action.

Smart Light

The Notti light project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise $5,000 in pledges to make the jump from concept to production. Witti Inc its creators explain :

“We wanted to design a light that would fit anywhere – home or office, and would look elegant when turned on or off. Simplicity was our goal. After many iterations, we decided to use polygons as the fundamental design element and we called our design theory “Polygonic”.

The Alarm Mode is one of our best features. 5 minutes before your alarm is set to go off, the Notti will gradually brighten to light up your room to peacefully wake you up from sleep, rather than abruptly like your alarm today. The video below shows this happening instantly, but that’s just because we didn’t want to show it dimming for 5 minutes.”

So if you think Notti smart light is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help Notti become a reality.
