We have been hearing rumors of a Nokia tablet that will runs Microsoft’s Windows 8 for a while now, Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop has mentioned previously that Nokia are considering launching a Windows 8 based tablet.
Now it would appear that we may have some more details about the new Windows 8 tablet from Nokia, according to a recent report from DigiTimes, Nokia may launch their first Windows 8 tablet in quarter four of 2012.
The device is rumored to come with a 10 inch touchscreen display and will apparently be powered by a dual core Qualcomm SoC, so the device could possibly use Qualcomm’s S4 processor.
It would be interesting to see what a Windows 8 based tablet from Nokia would be like, and considering the two companies close relationship we suspect that one of the first Windows 8 tablets to be launched may come from Nokia.
