Nokia manages their own navigation application know as HERE Maps, which was available on different platforms, including iOS. If you’re a fan of Nokia HERE maps, there’s some bad news for you.
Nokia has decided to remove its maps application from the iOS App Store due to the changes made in the latest iOS 7, as it harms the user experience of the application.
Users who want to use HERE maps can do so using the mobile web version of the application by visiting m.here.com to full travelling needs, which is pretty good enough if you want to make use of the service.
We have made the decision to remove our HERE Maps app from the Apple App Store because recent changes to iOS 7 harm the user experience. iPhone users can continue to use the mobile web version of HERE Maps under m.here.com, offering them location needs, such as search, routing, orientation, transit information and more, all completely free of charge.
In case you dont remember, Apple recently gave all the developers a deadline to update application with iOS 7 compatibility if they want their application to remain in the App Store. It could be one of the reasons why the application has been removed.
