It will feature a 6.18-inch display with a FHD+ resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio, providing users with a vibrant and immersive viewing experience. The handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, which is known for its efficiency and performance, making it suitable for both everyday tasks and more demanding applications.
Other specifications on the handset will include a choice of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This flexibility allows users to choose a model that best fits their needs, whether they require more memory for multitasking or additional storage for apps and media. Additionally, the Nokia 8.1 will come with high-end cameras. On the rear, there are dual cameras with one 13-megapixel and one 12-megapixel camera, which should provide excellent photo quality and depth effects. On the front of the handset, there is a 20-megapixel camera for selfies and video chat, ensuring that users can capture high-quality images and enjoy clear video calls.
Additional Features and Software
The Nokia 8.1 will run on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, offering users the latest features and improvements from Google’s operating system. This includes adaptive battery, which uses machine learning to prioritize battery power for the apps and services you use most, and digital wellbeing tools to help users manage their screen time and usage habits.
In terms of design, the Nokia 8.1 is expected to feature a premium build with a glass back and aluminum frame, giving it a sleek and modern look. The handset will also include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security and convenience.
Connectivity options on the Nokia 8.1 will include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port for fast charging and data transfer. The device is also expected to come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is becoming increasingly rare in modern smartphones but remains a popular feature among users.
Battery life is another important aspect of any smartphone, and the Nokia 8.1 is rumored to come with a 3,500mAh battery, which should provide ample power to get through a full day of use. The device is also expected to support fast charging, allowing users to quickly top up their battery when needed.
